In the ever expanding world of crypto, 4 years old project is already considered an OG. It was during the crypto boom of 2018, when a lot of exchanges were also created. Ethereum was not much older than that. I don’t think it’s the issue with the age of the project, but the underlying architecture, design and technology. Having a stablecoin backed by a volatile asset is a recipe for disaster. The foundation knew that, and that’s why they have been purchasing other cryptos to back their UST ecosystem recently. Unfortunately, it was too late, plus the perfect storm where virtually all the assets available dropped in price significantly.
